I am a strong believer in the resilience of the human spirit. I have worked with people who have faced various challenges, wounds, and losses throughout my career. Life's journey can sometimes bring us pain and suffering, leaving us feeling broken, exhausted, and disconnected from ourselves and others.

I believe in creating a safe and welcoming space where you can find comfort within yourself, live according to your values and desires, and reconnect with yourself and others.

With a Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling, I have gained a solid base of knowledge and skills to guide you on your journey. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their ethical guidelines, ensuring the highest professional standards.

My main focus is on working with adults and adolescents. I am here to accompany you on a journey of self-discovery. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, or relationship challenges, I  can provide support and guidance.

Counseling has the potential to profoundly impact your life. It provides a dedicated space for self-reflection, emotional release, and personal growth. Through therapy, you can:

Deepen Self-Understanding: Acquire valuable insights into your thoughts, emotions, and actions, which can lead to a greater self-awareness.

Strengthen Relationships: Develop improved communication skills and gain a deeper comprehension of how you interact with others.

Manage Stress: Learn effective stress-coping strategies and mindfulness techniques to reduce anxiety and enhance your emotional health.

Conquer Challenges: Confront unresolved issues, past traumas, and current obstacles that might be hindering your progress.

Navigate Life Transitions: Seek guidance during significant life changes, such as career shifts, adjustments in relationships, or personal development.

Elevate Mental Well-being: Enhance your emotional resilience and mental health, contributing to a more joyful and fulfilling life.

At the core of my approach are empathy, understanding, and the unwavering belief that you possess the inner strength to overcome obstacles. I will be by your side, offering a compassionate ear, insights, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to your unique needs.

Please rest assured that any personal information you choose to share with me is handled with the utmost confidentiality. Your information will not be disclosed to any other organization without your explicit consent. Exceptions to this confidentiality pledge may occur in rare circumstances, such as legal requirements, disclosure of abuse or child protection concerns, or if I believe there is a risk of harm to yourself, others, or from others.

I strictly adhere to the Ethical Framework for Good Practice established by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), ensuring your interests as a client are protected by this regulatory body. Additionally, I am fully compliant with GDPR regulations.

My therapy room is conveniently situated in central Taunton in Albermarle Centre (near the train station with the possibility of free parking nearby). I also offer online and telephone appointments to accommodate those unable to commute or just have a preference to have therapy in the comfort of their homes.

I invite you to take the next step on your journey. Whether you're ready to schedule an appointment, have questions, or want to learn more, please don't hesitate to reach out.
